About
Behind The Brendan Creaser Brain

Before I was a photographer, i was a paramedic
I've worked emergency rooms and ICU's. I've been in situations where everything is happeneing at once and the only option is to stay calm, read the room, and focus on what matter most.
Turns out that's exactly what wedding photography requires.
There's something else. I have aphantasia - I can't visualise mental images. I cannot picture my wife's face. I cannot picture my daughter's face. If I close my eyes right now, there's nothing there.
Which means photographs aren't decorations to me. They're how I see the people I love.
that's not a sad thing. It's just the reason this work means what it does to me, and why I'll never treat your wedding day as just another job.
The Approach
Your wedding day isn't a photo shoot.
I'll say that clearly, because I mean it. I'm not there to direct you, overpose you, or build a portfolio piece. I'm there to move through your day quietly. Watching, waiting, catching teh moments that are actually hapenning.
The look your dad gives you when he thinks nobody's watching. The way your best friend laughs at your vows. Those ten minutes after the ceremony when everyone finally exhales.
That's what I'm there for.

If this feels like the right fit,
I'd love to hear about your day.
Create something a little like this.
