Christine and Douglas Wow at their Leonda Wedding

It was a strangly rainy day in January in Melbourne when Christine and Douglas tied the knot at Leonda by the Yarra, but despite the weather they made the absolutely most of it! The couple met in 2015 at Caulfield Racecourse and have been inseparable ever since. They got engaged on a hot air balloon ride in Healsville, and decided on a garden party theme for their wedding with a sit down family feast.

The venue, Leonda by the Yarra, was the perfect setting for their garden party wedding. The beautiful gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. The florals by Flowers by Allie added the perfect pop of colour, with lush greenery and romantic blooms adorning the tables and archway.

Christine looked stunning in her gown from Jurgita Bridal, and Douglas was dapper in his suit. The couple's joy was infectious, and they couldn't stop smiling and laughing throughout the day.

The entertainment, provided by Unplugged Entertainment, kept the party going all night long. From the heartfelt speeches to the lively dancing, it was clear that Christine and Douglas's love was surrounded by so much love from their friends and family.

When asked what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, Christine and Douglas said, "Feeling hot, laughing, and enjoying the day with each other and our closest peeps." And that's exactly what they did.
