Cristina & Gihan's Romantic Wedding at The Burrow

On a beautiful summer evening, Cristina and Gihan exchanged their vows at The Burrow in Denver, Victoria. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the ceremony began at 4:30pm and ended around 5:00pm, marking the start of their journey as husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception that was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. The reception was held at the same location as the ceremony, The Burrow, and went on until 11:00pm. Guests were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan band that introduced the couple to the reception and a lamp lighting ceremony that added a touch of cultural tradition to the event.

As the couple shared their love story with their guests, it became clear that they had a unique and beautiful bond. Cristina and Gihan met in high school and while they weren't necessarily high school sweethearts, their journeys led them back to each other. Their engagement story was just as unique and special, with a surprise proposal in the Cairns Botanic Gardens on Cristina's birthday.

The couple chose a relaxed romantic vibe for their wedding day, with native flowers and a food truck to keep guests fed and happy. The dress that Cristina wore was designed by Viola Chan and was purchased from Oleg Cassani, while her hair and makeup were done by Tonic Agency. The live music was provided by Nikita Jaya and DJ Miki kept the party going late into the night. The florist, Luvleigh Estate Flower Farm, created stunning arrangements that added a touch of elegance to the event. The celebrant, Zee Scott, guided the couple through their ceremony and made it a truly memorable experience.
