A Classy March Wedding at Trofeo Estate: Nic & Jess Say Their I Dos

A day that felt steady and full of heart, where every moment quietly led them back to each other.

A day that felt classy, grounded, and centred on celebrating their happiness with the people who matter most. Nothing overcomplicated. Just meaningful moments, shared fully.

The morning began with a quiet sense of anticipation. Nic and his groomsmen settling into the rhythm of the day as preparations began. Jess and her bridesmaids also prepped at their own space, the energy building slowly as the hours moved forward. Jess stepped into an elegant white gown that felt timeless and refined, while Nic wore a classic black and white tux that carried a quiet confidence. Together, they embodied a style that didn’t need to demand attention. It simply held it.

By mid-afternoon, everything shifted toward one of the most intimate moments of the day. Their first look where Nic turned to see Jess for the first time. The noise of the day softened into stillness. And then, something unexpected. Jess handed Nic a letter. A quiet, deeply personal gesture that grounded the moment even further. It wasn’t just about seeing each other. It was about feeling everything that had led them here.

From there, the day unfolded naturally. Bridal party portraits carried a sense of ease and laughter, followed by couple portraits where the two of them could step away and simply be together. No rush. No pressure. Just a chance to settle into what the day meant.

As guests began arriving at Trofeo Estate, the atmosphere shifted once more. Anticipation built, conversations filled the space, and by the late afternoon, the ceremony began.

Led by Jacob Cunningham, the ceremony was heartfelt and sincere, reflecting not just the relationship Nic and Jess share, but the community around them. Florals by Poppy Culture framed the space with softness and texture, while live music from Campbell and Talana Bonello created a gentle, emotional backdrop as vows were exchanged. The bridal party had arrived in style thanks to their driver, Peter Lucas, adding another layer of calm to a day that moved with quiet intention.

Family photos followed, filled with warmth, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling that something significant has just taken place. As guests moved into the reception and the light began to soften, sunset portraits for the couple unfolded naturally, the vineyard offering a peaceful pause before the evening celebrations began.

The reception came to life with much cheer. Introductions flowed straight into the cake cutting, a seamless transition that carried energy into the room. The cake, created by Megan Lucas, became more than just a tradition. It marked the beginning of a night centred around connection and celebration.

As courses were served and cleared, speeches unfolded across the evening. Voices filled with history, humour, and love. The kind of words that only come from years of shared experience. The kind that linger.

The atmosphere was guided effortlessly by MC Roma Sterry, keeping the evening moving while allowing each moment to land exactly as it should. Behind the scenes, venue coordinator Jennifer ensured everything flowed with precision and care, creating a space where Nic and Jess could remain fully present.

As the night deepened, the dance floor called. Their first dance led into a father-daughter dance, a transition that felt both emotional and celebratory. From there, the night opened up. Music by DJ Tim Bunawan filled the room, supported by sound and lighting from Jack Jones, transforming the space into something vibrant and alive.

Laughter, movement, and music carried the evening forward. Moments captured quietly by videographer Ben Christy, preserving the feeling of it all as it happened.

As the night drew to a close, the energy softened once more. A last song. A private dance. A moment to take it all in without an audience.

And for their epic finale, a sparkler exit! Light flickering in the dark as friends and family surrounded them, sending them off into married life the same way the day had been lived. Together.

Nic and Jess’s wedding was not defined by a single moment.
It was shaped by all of them.

A day that moved with intention.
Felt deeply.
And stayed true to what mattered most.
