About The Epicurean Red Hill

Having gone through a major transformation in 2008, The Epicurean Red Hill is now a venue full of charm, love and extremely rich history – perfect for Red Hill wedding photography! Not only that, but a large portion of the building has been intentionally preserved which gives it an incredible amount of character. It's large dinning hall is the perfect combination of luxury and industrial. The wood fired pizza over provides some theatre for your guests, the tall ceilings give you an undeniable sense of space and there's ample room for a rocking dance floor!

Why Should You Consider It?

High ceilings, rustic interior and flipping great food. The restoration itself was designed by Hecker Guthrie, and has over 1,000 square metres of space. So whether you have a wedding party of 80 or 220+, you know everyone will have a comfortable experience. It's also in one of the most incredible suburbs on the Mornington Peninsula. With ample Airbnb or accomodation options you and your guests can turn your wedding into the ultimate weekend away. Perhaps you can have a recovery brunch at The Green Olive Red Hill down the road and follow it up with a romantic dinner for two at 10 minutes by Tractor.

Aesthetic & Vibes

Need some more reasons to choose this venue? 100-year-old recycled beams, a pizza oven and the original industrial concrete floors. It’s a chic, sophisticated venue that still holds the character and charm of a small rustic location. Your wedding photos are also sorted, head out the back and there's a stunning path that would take you all the way to The Merricks General Store.

We'll bring your wedding party with you to get some jaw-dropping photos, then focus on the love between you both in amongst the trees and bushland before bringing you back into your party.

Indoor And Outdoor Options

Epicurean weddings are primarily indoors but they do have a small outdoor space for overspill, or those particularly hot days. Couples have the choice of two locations for their ceremony – The Loft (onsite) and Johnny Ripe Main Ridge (offsite).

Johnny Ripe Main Ridge can accommodate up to 150 guests, is an 8-minute walk away from the Epicurean Red Hill and has some stunning views across the hills of Main Ridge (great for Red Hill wedding videography!).

The Loft is situated in what was the old apple store, has high ceilings, stunning exposed beams and is onsite at the Epicurean. This can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests.

Packages

Perhaps the star of the show, the package that the Epicurean Red Hill offers is second to none for you foodies. To start off with, they offer a pretty large ‘Cucina’ style menu. This allows guests to choose from a variety of dishes, making sure they have the one they love. The Epicurean is able to do this as they are the sole caterers for the venue and do not allow outside hires.

The price is around $195 per head, depending on the year. As an added bonus, they have another menu that allows you to enhance your offerings and add on a few extras. Things like arrival cocktails, personal cocktails, premium beverages, grazing tables and platters are all included. Speak to your wedding manager if you’re after something specific, I’m sure they can provide it!

If you’re after a sophisticated style venue that retains the charm and character of something a little more rustic, the Epicurean Red Hill is the place for you. And as a Red Hill wedding photographer and Red Hill wedding videographer, I’d love to help you realise your dream day. Get in contact and let’s get going!
