Capacity:

30-200 people. That's a huge spread! What's important to know that it's a big venue that can really cater for a beautifully sized crowd, or make the space feel really intimate if you've got a smaller guest list. A huge bonus is the separated dance-floor. When the dance floor is attached to the main reception area it can sometimes feel too spread out. The key to a good dance-floor is of course great music, but secondly an area for people to squish in a little. Think music festival or nightclub vibes. It's the perfect combination of plenty of room to make all your favourite moves and small enough to trap in the energy. There's another bonus. Hit the dance floor and watch the sun go down for the night with an endless view over Port Phillip Bay. I'll take that thanks!

Catering: Delicious. Drool worthy delicious. The Baths Sorrento is also a restaurant which means one thing.... They know how to do food! You and your guests won't be going hungry with so many incredibly delicious meals to choose from. Best chat to the expert at The Baths to see what they're cooking up right now and add it to your must have wedding menu.

Sat directly on the beach, The Baths Sorrento wedding venue gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere with all the luxury amenities, epic views and delicious food you could ever want. It's somewhat of a rarity to have a wedding venue right on the beach like you do here. It's more reminiscent of the East Coast of Australia, where surf clubs and restaurants line the coast. In Victoria we're more accustomed to inner city, winery or barn style wedding venues so the uniqueness of The Baths is a huge drawcard.

Set in Sorrento, Victoria, The Baths lies on the land of the Boonwurung people. It has incredible coastal beauty and has become a haven for Victorias rich and famous. Sorrento has some of the very best that the Mornington Peninsula offers, with gorgeous views of the bay, beaches, and cliffs.  The area is known for its natural beauty, with sheltered coves, rock pools, and sandy beaches. Sorrento offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular getaway from the busy city life of Melbourne.  The vibe here is more laid-back compared to other Mornington Peninsula towns. It's also s a haven for gourmands, with a variety of restaurants, cafes, and wineries.  Fresh seafood features prominently, with options ranging from casual cafes to upscale fine dining.

IF you have family from the Western side of Melbourne or down the Surf Coast of Victoria, it's also incredibly convenient. With hourly ferry services between Queenscliff and Sorrento it's a comfortable 45 minute journey away.

Open the windows to let the cool, sea breeze in or close them up and enjoy the view whilst escaping from the cooling evening air. Every corner of the room has incredible views, the amenities are stunning and the food absolutely drool worthy. It's light and bright beachside aesthetic and vibe can either be enjoyed as is, or dressed up in a stunning array of floral creations by one of the Mornington Peninsula many talented local wedding florists.

Indoor And Outdoor Options at The Baths

The Baths Sorrento wedding venue has several different locations to suit your needs throughout the day. While each one serves a slightly different purpose and accommodates a different amount of people, they all have the same light and airy vibe you’d expect from a location next to the sea.

The western deck, eastern deck and restaurant all work seamlessly together in terms of aesthetics, so there’s a consistent theme when you’re adding the finishing touches before your big day. The restaurant is particularly spectacular with its full-length windows, cosy fireplace in winter and high beam ceilings. That means The Baths Sorrento wedding videography is just as dreamy as you’d imagine!
