FAQS

Do you offer albums?

Plus icon

Yes. I work with Australia's finest printers to create albums built to last generations. These are true heirlooms, not just files on a drive. Albums can be designed as part of your initial collection or ordered once your gallery is delivered.

Why don't you post everything online?

Plus icon

I believe your photos should be yours to share, or not, as you decide. While I am proud to showcase my work, my studio operates on a strictly permission-based model. I will always ask for your explicit consent before sharing any images. If you prefer to keep your day entirely offline, I honour that choice without question.

There was once a stage where I shared everything, however reflecting on what I would want of my personal life shared online, I now choose to restrict that.

Is privacy really that important?

Plus icon

For some couples, yes—professionally, personally, or simply as a preference. For others, it's just peace of mind. Either way, it costs you nothing and protects everyone.

Can we still post our own photos?

Plus icon

Of course. Your photos, your decision. Post them everywhere, nowhere, or somewhere in between. We just won't be the ones sharing them.

What makes you different from other photographers?

Plus icon

Nearly a decade documenting weddings on the Mornington Peninsula. I know the venues, the light, and the hidden spots inside out. That experience, combined with a background as a paramedic, means I bring an undeniable sense of calm to even the most chaotic wedding days. I see the moments before they happen.

Will it be you photographing our wedding?

Plus icon

Yes. When you book me for photography, you get me. I don’t use "associates" or send a stranger in my place. From our first conversation to the final delivery of your gallery, I am the person behind the lens. This allows us to build the trust and calm required to capture your day authentically.

How do we know if you're the right fit?

Plus icon

Start a conversation. Tell me about your day, what matters to you, and what you’re looking for. I’ll be honest about whether I'm the right match. If you value a calm, experienced professional who prioritises your experience over a "photography show," we’ll get along just fine.

Do you require a deposit?

Plus icon

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due closer to the wedding. Payment terms are outlined in our proposal.

How far in advance should we book?

Plus icon

As early as you can. Popular dates—particularly on the Peninsula—book well ahead. That said, if your wedding is soon and we're available, we won't turn you away because of timing.

What's the booking process?

Plus icon

It starts with a conversation. Tell us about your day, ask your questions, and we'll do the same. If it's a good fit, we'll send through a proposal. A signed contract and deposit secure your date.

Do you photograph destination weddings?

Plus icon

The Peninsula is my backyard, but I follow my couples wherever the story goes. Whether you're planning a wedding in Byron Bay, interstate, or overseas, I’m happy to discuss the logistics.

Do you do videography?

Plus icon

I do. I offer documentary wedding films with the same approach as my photography: real moments, shaped into a story. I work with a small, hand-selected team of filmmakers who share my "qui

How many photos will we receive?

Plus icon

I focus on quality over volume. You will receive every image that meets my professional standard—typically several hundred for a full day. I’d rather deliver a collection of exceptional images than pad a gallery with filler.

What's your photography style?

Plus icon

Documentary. I photograph what unfolds rather than directing it—the glances, the in-betweens, and the unscripted moments. I am there to observe and capture, not orchestrate. That said, I understand that certain moments benefit from gentle guidance, such as family portraits, which I handle efficiently and naturally so you can get back to your guests.

How can we see your work?

Plus icon

My website and venue guides include a curated selection of images that represent my style. For anything more specific—a particular venue or a certain "vibe"—get in touch. I can often share private galleries of relevant work that have been approved by previous clients for review.
